Credentials and workflow data live on your server, not in a shared cloud account. Root access means you decide what is installed.

Is self-hosted n8n free?
The n8n Community Edition can be self-hosted under n8n's own licence; check n8n's terms for your use case. You pay us only for the server.
Can I run n8n and a bot on the same server?
Yes. It is your server with root access, so you can run n8n next to a Telegram bot, a database or other tools, as long as the plan has enough memory for all of them.
Is there a one-click n8n install?
Not yet — one-click installs are coming soon. Today you install n8n yourself over SSH; it takes a few commands with Docker.
